Gaetano Rubinelli is the progenitor of the Rubinelli family, who have always lived in Valpolicella.
After having designed and built the Chievo dam on the Adige river, which supplied electricity to the industries of Verona in the early twentieth century, he bought the Vajol countryside, for its perfect basin conformation, located exactly in the heart of the historic Valpolicella.
Over the years, the will of the Rubinelli family to produce a cru of Vajol in which the excellence of the product of this land can be fully expressed: grapes of the highest quality, the result of an ideal exposure to the sun and a perfect drying in the ventilated and temperate climate of the Conca del Vajol.
